FAQ
-
Appointments are relaxed and unhurried. Ben looks at your artwork with you, talks through ideas, and guides you through mounts, frames and glazing options at a comfortable pace. The aim is to create a design that feels right for both the piece and your home. You leave with a clear quote and timeframe.
-
The studio frames fine art, photography, prints, canvases, textiles, memorabilia and three‑dimensional objects. Every piece — whether valuable, sentimental or simply something you enjoy having around — is handled with care and craft.
-
Most bespoke work takes two to three weeks, depending on materials and complexity. If you have a particular date in mind, we will always do our best to help.
-
Yes. Conservation framing is available when requested. The studio uses acid‑free materials, UV‑protective glazing and reversible techniques to protect artwork and sentimental pieces for the long term when conservation standards are required.
-
Keep your framed piece out of direct sunlight and heat and away from damp or steamy rooms. Dust the frame gently with a soft cloth. If you ever need glass replaced, a mount refreshed or a frame repaired, the studio is happy to help.
